Prof. Xian Cheng, Zhengzhou Universiti, China

National-level Young Talent

Cheng Xian, Professor, Doctoral Supervisor, National Young Talent, Executive Dean of the School of Electrical and Information Engineering at Zhengzhou University, and a Professor-level Electrical Engineer. He received his bachelor's degree from Air Force Engineering University in 2003, his master's degree from Huazhong University of Science and Technology in 2007, and his Ph.D. from Dalian University of Technology in 2012. From 2014 to 2017, he conducted postdoctoral research at Pinggao Group.

His current social affiliations mainly include: Member of the Electrical and Energy Discipline Teaching Committee of the China Electric Power Education Association, Youth Worker Committee Member of the Council of the China Electrotechnical Society, Member of the Youth Group of the High Voltage Committee of the Chinese Society for Electrical Engineering, Member of the Plasma and Applications Committee of the China Electrotechnical Society, Executive Director of the Henan Society for Electrical Engineering, Executive Director of the Henan Electrotechnical Society, Youth Editorial Board Member of the journal High Voltage Apparatus, Council Member of the Journal of Vacuum Science and Technology, Member of the Zhengzhou Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese, and Vice President of the Zhengzhou University Postdoctoral Association. He serves as a Communications Reviewer for the National Natural Science Foundation of China, Session Chair of the High Voltage Section at the 2016 and 2018 National Conferences on High Voltage and Discharge Plasmas, Paper Evaluation Expert for the Ministry of Education's Professional Degree Level Assessment, Reviewer for the Shandong Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award, Reviewer for the Henan Provincial Electric Power Science and Technology Award, and Reviewer for SCI journals such as IEEE TDEI, IEEE TPS, IJEPES, High Voltage, PST, as well as EI journals including Proceedings of the CSEE, Transactions of China Electrotechnical Society, High Voltage Engineering, and Power System Technology.


Prof. Weihua Xu, Southwest University, China

Xu Weihua, born in May 1979, holds a Ph.D. and has completed postdoctoral research at Xi'an Jiaotong University. In 2011, he was exceptionally promoted to professor. He currently works at the College of Artificial Intelligence, Southwest University, as a doctoral supervisor and postdoctoral co-supervisor. He has also been a visiting scholar at The Chinese University of Hong Kong and Macau University of Science and Technology. He is recognized as an Academic Technology Leader of Chongqing, a Distinguished Young and Middle-aged Teacher of Chongqing, and a nominee for the Top Ten Scientific and Technological Youth Award of Chongqing. He serves as a senior member of the International Rough Set Society, a senior member of the Chinese Association for Artificial Intelligence (CAAI), Deputy Director of the CAAI Technical Committee on Knowledge Engineering and Distributed Intelligence, Secretary-General of the CAAI Technical Committee on Granular Computing and Knowledge Discovery, Standing Committee Member of the CAAI Technical Committee on Fundamental Artificial Intelligence, Executive Director of the Intelligent Decision-Making and Game Theory Branch of the Chinese Society for Optimization, Overall Planning and Economic Mathematics, and Associate Editor of the international SCI journals International Journal of Machine Learning and Cybernetics and Journal of Intelligent and Fuzzy Systems.

He has published over 260 papers in prestigious domestic and international academic journals, including IEEE TCYB, IEEE TFS, IEEE TNNLS, IEEE TETCI, IEEE TBD, IEEE TAI, INF, INS, KBS, and FSS. Among these, over 180 papers have been indexed by SCI, with more than 7,600 citations on Google Scholar and an H-index of 47. Eleven of his papers have been selected as ESI Highly Cited Papers. He has also authored five academic books published by Science Press. He has led four projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China and over 20 provincial and ministerial-level scientific and technological projects. He has received one Third Prize of the Hebei Provincial Natural Science Award. He has frequently served as (or co-served as) General Co-Chair, Program Committee Co-Chair, Organizing Committee Co-Chair, and Youth Forum Chair at international (and domestic) academic conferences. He has been invited as a keynote speaker at numerous international (and domestic) academic conferences and serves as a reviewer for Mathematical Reviews (USA), a communication review expert for the National Natural Science Foundation of China, and an evaluation expert for the Natural Science Award of the Ministry of Education. He has achieved notable research results in fields such as artificial intelligence, data mining, cognitive computing, granular computing, information fusion, uncertainty decision-making, and knowledge engineering.

Prof. Jianjun Ni, Hohai Universiti, China

Jianjun Ni , Ph.D., Professor, Academic Doctoral Supervisor in Artificial Intelligence and Information and Communication Engineering, Professional Doctoral Supervisor in Electronic Information, Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at the College of Artificial Intelligence and Automation, Hohai University. He serves as an evaluation expert for scientific and technological projects and awards under the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the China Scholarship Council, the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, as well as provinces and municipalities such as Jiangsu and Beijing. He is a Senior Member of IEEE, a Senior Member of the Chinese Association for Artificial Intelligence, a Senior Member of the China Computer Federation, a Visiting Professor at the University of Guelph (Canada) and the University of Essex (UK), and a recognized Young and Middle-Aged Scientific and Technological Leader under the "333 Project" of Jiangsu Province. He has been named to the global list of the top 2% of scientists (jointly released by Stanford University and Elsevier). His primary research directions include information acquisition and processing, artificial intelligence and robotics, and machine learning. He has led and participated in 6 national-level projects, over 10 provincial and ministerial-level projects, and more than 30 projects at various other levels. He has published over 150 papers, with more than 100 indexed by SCI, an H-index of 23, and several papers selected as ESI global top 1% highly cited papers. He holds over 50 invention patents, has authored or co-authored 5 academic monographs and textbooks, and has received one Shanghai Science and Technology Progress Award.
